There was a cocktail of events in the National Unity Platform regarding who rightfully owns the party on Bobi Wine and Mzee Nkonge Moses Kibalama.

This followed a press briefing in Lubaga where Kibalama unveiled his own party headquarters where he warned Bobi Wine and other leaders to report to his office and if they fail, they will be fired and cease to be members of the leading opposition party National Unity Platform.

However, Kamwokya in a statement released has sent a stern warning to Kibalama and his group to stop masquerading that they own NUP because the constitution says otherwise.

“We also send a stern warning to these masqueraders, the full wrath of the law will be unleashed  on them over their fraudulent tendencies”- reads part of the statement from Kamwokya.

Statement From Kamwokya Warning Kibalama

In the statement, Bobi Wine’s  NUP has reminded Kibalama how he once confessed to have been coached by the state during the days they were reportedly abducted and were told to lie about the legitimate leadership of NUP and it’s still possible that the same state is behind them to disorganize the party.
