Franked by her colleagues from National Unity Platform, Joyce Bagala is a happy woman today after court ruled that she’s the rightfully elected women member of parliament for Mityana district. Those who joined her in the celebrations are Francis Zaake MP mityana Municipality, Lukyamuzi Kalwanga of Busujju, NUP General secretary David Lewis Rubongoya among others.

The lands Minister will now concentrate on her docket fully as her hopes to represent Mityana people again have been deflated and will wait till 2026.

Nabakooba a former police spokesperson joined politics in 2015 and stood to represent Mityana in the August house, she caught the president’s eye who appointed her minister of ICT and national guidance only to be swept by the wave that took many NRM legislators in Buganda.
