JINJA: Police has this evening confirmed that a teacher who was earlier in the morning the bone of contention today in Jinja city over homosexuality (gayism and lesbianism) claims at a popular single sex only girls school.
Parents and concerned residents stormed the gates of PMM girls formerly known as Jinja girls after a tip from one of the radio stations that a female teacher known as Lydia Mukoda has been molesting female students in the school and promoting lesbianism.

Police came at the school to calm down the angry parents, a management meeting was later convened and administrators confirmed that investigations into the matter are currently ongoing.
Speaking to this website, police publicist for Kiira region James Mubi has confirmed that they’ve apprehended the teacher in question who is 43 years old to ascertain the claims of homosexuality leveled against her by a section of members of the public.
