OMORO DECIDES: Military Raids FDC Offices Ahead Of By-elections

Residents in Omoro county in Omoro district are currently voting a replacement of former Speaker Jacob Oulanyah who died two months ago.

The highly contested poll has been characterized with arrests and heavy military deployment according to reports coming in from Omoro.

New details coming in indicate that the Military raided Forum for Democratic Party offices in Opit and made off with some money, appointment letters of polling agents, computers and and also arrested 15 leaders other items according to FDC president Patrick Oboi Amuriat.

However, police has denied knowledge of the reports by FDC but they’ve opened up investigations into the matter.
