In a quite a change of his tone on the throne he has always projected to be admiring, first son and commander land forces Muhoozi Kainerugaba has denied harboring presidential ambitions as it has always been said by his crusaders across the country.

Muhoozi has been celebrating his birth for now 6 weeks and is said to be heading to Jinja for the same in a pretext of presiding over the launch of the CECAFA women’s tournament at Kakindu stadium which he has confirmed already.

I hear Busoga can party better than Kampala? Let's see about that? I am coming to Jinja to check on my people.

— Muhoozi Kainerugaba (@mkainerugaba) May 28, 2022

All my supporters in Busoga, I will be with you very soon. Let us shake up Busoga. Let Uganda see the power of the MK Army!

Many people have seen the events that have been unfolding surrounding Muhoozi as preparations to take succeed his father which Museveni has denied despite the same being leaked to the public almost 10 years ago by former spy chief David Sejusa in 2013.

After the hyped birthday parties at Lugogo cricket oval, State house Entebbe and Garuga, Muhoozi’s statements hinted on his desire to jump in the country’s top seat which prompted city lawyer Gawaya Tegule to drag him to court to ban him from engaging in political activities and uttering political sentiments yet he’s still a serving army officer.

In his latest tweet, Muhoozi has categorically stated that he has never dreamt of being Uganda’s president and what he definitely wants is to struggle and achieve the interests of his generation.

A lot of people keep asking me if I want to be President? I have never dreamed about it! All I want and what we will struggle for and definitely achieve are the interests of our generation.

However, being a changing person, we highly doubt if the president’s son will stand by his words because a month ago he announced retirement from the army only to change his words that he’s not about to retire from the army which he some times refers to as “his army”.

His tweet has elicited reactions from his followers who have vowed to drag him into the presidential seat by force and they don’t want him to turn down his presidential ambitions which they all along thought he was harboring.

We shall force you to lead us…period.

For ever we shall have one generation general mk no other will ever come or exist long live Gen mk the fearless lion of the land

— Joshua m#Busoga for Gen mk 2026 (@mudhajosh) May 28, 2022

Our interests as a generation are(first of all) to have u as our President. U may not want but remember even the greatest leader this land has ever had, Gen @KagutaMuseveni never wanted to become one. His generation suggested. So we also suggest.
