However, the company has suffered a major setback as misfortunes befell it from the onset of the month of May and this made Ugandans to wonder what could be the issue.

Link Bus started the month on a sad note when on 04th their bus involved in an Accident in Kabarole enroute to Kampala leaving many injured and 23 dead, government suspended it’s operations but would later lift the ban after it was discovered the accident was caused by human error of the driver who also unfortunately died in the same accident.

The ban was later lifted by the ministry of works after transporters sighted that they wouldn’t handle the demand because Link Bus is a monopoly and indeed on 16th May, their pleas were heard. Just two days after the ban was lifted, Link Bus registration number UBD 269A caught fire in Natete Kampala when it was returning from Kasese, fortunately no one was injured.

As Ugandans were working to terms of the misfortunes following the giant transporter, just last week on Friday, every one woke to shocking news of armed men hijacking a Link bus registration number UBG 423G and robbed all the passengers on gun point around Bamujugu swamp at the boarder of Mityana and Kassanda districts.

Netizens were left puzzled with more questions than the answers and a one blogger Bakiga Facts has shocked the nation when he shared a video of a witch doctor reportedly casting misfortunes to link bus Company in a video that has since gone viral. Could he be the reason why the bus company is suffering misfortunes?
