Sad news reaching our desk indicate that Bukwo district Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Charles Ogwang was last night shot death and his vehicle registration number UG 0865Z burnt to ashes.

It’s alleged that Charles Robert Ogwang left his work station Bukwo district for a meeting in Kampala which ended last evening. When the meeting was done, he requested his driver to remain and move back to Bukwo as he travels to Lira for the weekend using the government vehicle.

However, he didn’t know he would meet his death on the way at 8:00pm when unknown assailants attacked him and shot him several times in Matugga along the Kampala- Gulu highway and as he was reportedly trying to run for rescue, his car was set on fire and it’s from this moment that good Samaritans rushed him to Bombo hospital while breeding unfortunately the Doctors didn’t save his life.
